Welcome to another Rhythms of Life moment! In this episode, Bill Pagaran, president of Carry the Cure and drummer of Broken Walls, shares a powerful message of hope and mental strength.
Inspired by the lyrics of Paul McCartney's song "Let Him In," Bill delves into the importance of being selective about the thoughts and ideas we allow into our minds and hearts. He emphasizes the need for God's guidance to discern which influences will help us grow and which will lead us astray.
Bill encourages us to let Jesus into our hearts first, allowing His love, peace, and goodness to cleanse our minds of harmful thinking. By doing so, we can achieve mental strength and clarity, navigating life with divine direction and purpose.
As Revelation 3:20 says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and sup with him and he with me." Bill invites you to open the door to Jesus and experience the freedom, peace, and potential that comes with His presence.

Welcome to another Rhythms of Life moment! Recently, I had the chance to cross the Sky Bridge at Alyeska, known as the Veil Breaker. This experience inspired a profound reflection on our role as believers in Christ.Just as Jesus' death tore the veil of the temple, granting us access to eternal life, we too can be veil breakers for others. We can help people see and experience the love of God and the kingdom of heaven here on earth.Crossing the Sky Bridge required focus and courage, much like our journey in faith. We are called to help others navigate their own paths to Jesus, the ultimate bridge to eternal life. By sharing Jesus' love, we can guide others across the chasm of sin to the Father.Remember, be a veil breaker for the veil breaker. Help others experience heaven on earth and guide them to Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life.Stay tuned for more Rhythms of Life moments. Welcome to another Rhythms of Life moment. In this episode, we discuss the importance of turning awareness into action through compassion, especially during National Suicide Awareness Month. Learn how you can be the one to save a life, whether it’s a friend, family member, or someone in your community.
You don't have to be an expert to make a difference. If someone confides in you about suicidal thoughts, it’s crucial to offer help and hope, rather than keeping it a secret. Good friends don't keep deadly secrets. Simple actions like listening, guiding them to a trusted person, or taking them to Jesus can make a world of difference.
Inspired by the story of Jesus healing a paralyzed man in Mark 2, we explore how awareness and compassion led to action. Just like the friends who took their paralyzed friend to Jesus, you too can take meaningful steps to help those in need. During National Suicide Awareness Month, become aware, have compassion, and take action.
Consider taking a gatekeeper suicide prevention class like QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) and visit CarryTheCure.org for more resources. Together, we can share hope and make a difference.

Hey guys, the Rhythms of Life moment is dedicated to helping us all to be mental health strong. On this program, I take a biblical approach to overcoming difficult times. Why? Because we all have them. Help me. Have you ever cried out, help me, in desperation? I have. I think we all have. but I'd like to share some thoughts about help.
Number one, asking for help is common. Don't feel less than just because you're going through a tough time. We all need help in our lives. Number two, help can come from different sources, from a friend, family member, elder, teacher, counselor, pastor, or other. I think it's vital to understand that God often sends help through people with skin on. Sometimes when we are in desperation, we cry out, help God, help me, Lord. And yet God sends help through a person. While sometimes we're looking for an angelic being or supernatural intervention, God sends people.
In Luke 10.33, God describes how a friend or neighbor or good Samaritan can be sent to help someone in need. Proverbs 3.27 and 28 says this, Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, come back tomorrow and I'll give it to you. I believe we are created as vessels to help one another. The greatest commandment is love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. But the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. Help. If you're in need, ask for help. If you know someone in need, help them. We all need help.
Ultimately, whether we are helping someone or we are asking for help, it does come from above. Psalm 121.1, I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Hey, this was another Rhythms of Life Moment. Until next time, guna shchysh, ho, ho.

Welcome to another enlightening episode of Rhythms of Life, where we discuss a poignant yet underrated issue, the power of dreams. We often brush off the idea of living dreams as an idealistic perception or consume it with sarcastic undertones. However, the truth can't be more disparate. Dreams constitute an essential part of our life signal, and we are destined to carry them out in Christ's vibrant spirit.Proverbs state that a lack of vision is akin to perishing, and crucially, the ones adhering to the law are sensed as joyous entities. This resonates with us living our dreams in alignment with God's plan. Encouragingly, as per the divine decree, if you find pleasure in the Lord, He will bestow upon you your heart's deepest yearnings. Our existence, intricately crafted in God's image, underpins a significant purpose – to actualize the big dream God has dreamt for us. The circumstances and challenges we encounter are not mere coincidences but divine strategies to help us turn to Him, rise, trust, and believe. We are here now for an explicit divine purpose. As stated in Ephesians, we are His masterwork, recreated in Christ for performing noble deeds, actions God has premeditated so that we may undertake them.If you've lost touch with your divine dream, it's time to reignite it. Revel in God's love, put your trust in Him, and watch your dream being rekindled in your soul. Don't be swayed away by skeptics and instead tread on God's path to manifest your dreams. To materialize them, never deter from your faith. Instead, lean on deep faith in the Lord, let Him guide your ways, and He will lead you on the righteous path.Join us for this meaningful dialogue on Rhythms of Life and awaken to the dream God has placed in your heart.
