Welcome to another enlightening episode of "Rhythms of Life". A reminder that your life, like all natural occurrences, follows a rhythm; the way you talk, walk, breathe, even your heartbeat. Discover this rhythm, get into its groove and align it with the Lord’s purpose for your life.In contemplating Ephesians 5:8-10, an emphasis is placed on the phrase “Find out what pleases the Lord”. When you discover what is pleasing to God, embrace it wholeheartedly, just like the message from an old Nike commercial encourages: Just do it!Interestingly, you’ll find that many of your passions align with God’s pleasure. Psalm 37:4 prescribes that you delight yourself in the Lord and He will grant the desires of your heart. Whether you're passionate about playing drums, hiking, or anything else, embrace it. Channel these passions into acts of worship, for you can feel the delight of God in them.Imagine being on a mountain top, in awe of God's creation, feeling His majestic presence. When in this state, the issues of life seem minuscule compared to God’s grandeur, reminding you that He is with you, helping you rise above life's challenges. So here’s your takeaway: find out what pleases God and engage in it. In doing the things you love while serving Him, you not only feel his love, but you also receive His divine affirmation and guidance. Consequently, He opens up doors and opportunities for you because of His love for you. So, immerse yourself into God's rhythm for your life and find contentment in pleasing Him.Stay tuned in for more "Rhythms of Life" moments and for more about Bill Pagaran and Carry the Cure, visit carrythecure.org. Welcome to another enriching episode of Rhythms of Life Moment by Bill Pagarin. In this podcast, Bill ventures into subjects that affect our mental health such as depression, anxiety, among others, with the intention to inspire and encourage believers to lead godly lives. Utilizing Biblical scriptural teachings, Bill affirms the fundamental belief for Christians that, through finding the truth in Jesus, we grow better mental images of who we truly are as God's children. As we navigate life's adversities, feelings of rejection, hurt and resentment may storm our peace, but with a draw towards God and His Word, we can find hope. With an example of a personal experience, Bill addresses the importance of turning to God before acting based on our raw emotions. He calls for believers to surrender their selves to God's probing, reproof, guidance, and ultimate healing. Bill turns to Psalm 139 as an appropriate scripture anchoring this belief, encouraging listeners to likewise engage in self-reflection and invite God to evaluate their life, test them, and guide them on the path to eternal life. The main goal of Bill's message this episode is to encourage listeners to understand that achieving robust mental health relies heavily on surrendering their lives to God for His divine guidance.Stay enriched by Bill Pagarin's biblical wisdom centered on your mental well-being. As I talked with a friend today, I was reminded of what Martin Luther King Jr. said. He said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." That inspired me to share about how God's love in and through us can pierce the darkness around us.

The scripture in Matt 1:23 always seems to rock my world this time of year. “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Today, it reminded me of how God is always on time.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Sometimes, we just need to eat the pumpkin pie. Look forward to the things you like in the new season; don't deny it's time for pumpkin pie. Of course, I'm talking about not wanting summer to end...especially since is was so rainy.

As I hike along the ridges of Marmot Mountain and Rae Wallace Peak I noticed my shadow being enveloped by a pilots halo, or sundog. It followed me for over an hour. It reminded me that we are never alone and that God sends His angels to guard us and He guides our footsteps so that we are not harmed.

Recently, I launched out on a new speaking series that I'm fired up about. During my first session things didn't go as planned. God humbled me and reminded me that it's all about him. I think we all want to do our best; however, sometimes, if we're not careful, it can come out wrong.
